When Aaron's sons went to the altar to offer a sacrifice to God they were struck down with fire. The Bible explains that the fire they used in their offering was a strange fire, and God in His anger towards the offensive offering, immediately struck them down.
What I could not understand was how in order to make a point for a message, something that the Bible is very clear on, can be misconstrued to such a severe degree. To say that Judas was in God’s will, because the betrayal was something that had to happen. Had to be the most ludicrous thing I ever heard.
Sometimes those ‘I did it’ moments become our greatest decisions. But other times, those ‘I did it’ moments turn into sticky situations or can totally backfire. And when that happens you run the risk of putting your story out there, in the open. Where the world can now judge you and look down on you because of that one reckless, ‘I did it’ moment.
