Feeling Stressed out and anxious? Well, stress and anxiety usually stem from a feeling of a loss of control in situations that overwhelm us.
Trusting God to take care of situations that we have no control over has to be one of the biggest difficulties that people face. It sounds so easy to say ‘I’m not going to let this situation worry me’. But when you are facing a really desperate need or circumstance, it is not so easy not to worry.
But here’s the thing, God doesn’t say not to face your trouble head on.There are countless experiences of people facing their troubles head on in the Bible. But the thing that stands out is, those whose trust was in the Lord, whatever they faced, those troubled experiences did not destroy them.
Daniel went into the Lions Den, Meshack, Shadrack and Abednego went into the fire. Abraham put Isaac on the altar. Jesus was arrested. Seasons of trouble come, but seasons of trouble always go.
That is because God has a habit of turning things around, He has a habit of changing things around. He turns all things for good to those that love Him. He turns your mourning into dancing, He turns your sorrow into joy.
God wants to remind someone today that He has said not to worry. Not to be worried or to be concerned about the outcome. He does not want you to fear the unknown.
Please remember that irrespective of what the outcome of your situation is, God has promised you perfect peace in the midst of your storm, He has promised you that He shall always be with you, and He shall never leave you or let you go.
My friends, guard your heart, and mind and do not let it be troubled.
You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.Isaiah 26:3 NIV
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.John 14:27
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.Philippians 4:7 NKJV
The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”Deuteronomy 31:8 NIV
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”John 16:33 NKJV
